Sam Tatarka appears in the Family Court and the Federal Circuit Court in complex property matters and practises in all areas of the family law/de facto jurisdiction.

Sam has extensive experience and expertise in professional negligence matters and a broad based commercial practice in the County and Supreme Courts of Victoria, the Federal Court  and equivalent courts interstate.  He gives strategic advice and representation in Alternative Dispute resolution, contractual disputes, insurance litigation and building cases. He has experience in corporations law, banking and finance, sale of business and engineering cases.

Sam advises lawyers in relation to their obligations under the Legal Profession Uniform Law and offers advice and assistance to those facing investigation and prosecution by the Legal Services Board and the Legal Services Commissioner.  He also acts in civil claims in VCAT’s Legal Practice and Civil Claims Lists.  He represents and advises parties in reviews before the Costs Court.
