Craig's practice is predominantly in the areas of industrial and employment law and the related areas of administrative, disciplinary and discrimination law.  He appears regularly in the Federal Court, the Fair Work Commission, and other courts and tribunals, in trials and appeals. Craig has a national practice involving regular interstate appearances and advice.

Craig is a Senior Fellow at the University of Melbourne Law School teaching Labour Standards under the Fair Work Act.

Craig is a committee member and former president of the Industrial Bar Association. He is a member of the Federal Court Employment and Industrial Relations User Group and is a reporter for the Industrial Reports.
