Zac accepts briefs in all areas of commercial law. He is particularly interested in competition and consumer law, corporations and securities law, taxation and revenue law, technology law, intellectual property law and public and administrative law.

Before coming to the Bar, Zac worked at Uber Technologies Inc’s International HQ in The Netherlands. He was in-house counsel and managing director of Uber’s international trading and holding companies.

In those capacities, Zac was responsible for: managing all of Uber’s worldwide litigation; engaging with competition regulators internationally; overseeing the development of Uber’s international corporate group and tax structures; and managing its privacy and data protection compliance program.

Zac has experience in intellectual property protection including conducting litigation involving copyright, trade mark and patent infringement, misuse of confidential information and advising on enforcement of intellectual property rights generally. 

Zac holds a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce (Economics) from Monash University. He is fluent in Dutch and reads French and German.
