Jane Warren practices in criminal and quasi-criminal matters.
She appears in trials, pleas and appeals. Her practice includes drafting written cases for appeals against conviction and/or sentence.
Jane has an extensive understanding of the current methods of managing, analysing and interpreting DNA evidence. She was junior counsel for the prosecution in the case of DPP v TUITE.
Prior to joining the bar Jane worked for over two years as a criminal solicitor.
In 2011 she completed a secondment to the Victorian Court of Appeal, implementing changes introduced by the Criminal Procedure Act 2009.
