Jane Warren practices primarily in criminal law.

She appears for both the defence and the prosecution in all areas of criminal law and in all jurisdictions, including the Court of Appeal. She has nearly ten years' experience across a broad range of matters, including homicides, sexual offences, drug and property offences and offences of violence. 

Jane has a particular interest in matters concerning the Crimes Mental Impairment and Fitness to be Tried Act.

She also has extensive experience in matters involving DNA evidence.

Prior to joining the bar Jane worked as a criminal solicitor. In 2011 she completed a secondment to the Victorian Court of Appeal, implementing changes introduced by the Criminal Procedure Act 2009.
