Sai is an experienced court advocate, accepting briefs in criminal, quasicriminal, and property law.
He is known for his personable approach with clients and his ability to maintain their trust and confidence.
Sai has practiced as a Criminal Solicitor Advocate, and appeared on a daily basis in the Magistrates’, County, and Supreme Court of Victoria. Sai regularly appears in:
- appeals;
- bail applications;
- committal hearings;
- contest hearings;
- pleas; and
- supervision order hearings
Most notably, Sai appeared in a well-publicised case regarding gel blaster firearms in Victoria, where it was held that gel-blaster firearms do not meet the definition of a real firearm as defined by the Act.
Sai has also been a Property and Commercial Lawyer, acting for commercial and property clients, specifically, government agencies and property developers. Sai provides:
- advice to clients on acquiring development sites;
- drafting and negotiating contracts;
- negotiating commercial disputes; and
- negotiating all contractual disputes.
