Prior to coming to the Bar, Alexis was an experienced solicitor advocate having practised primarily in regional Victoria.

Alexis appeared daily in the Magistrates’ Court in Mildura, Geelong, Warrnambool, and Melbourne. She frequently appeared in bail applications, committal mentions, child welfare matters and contested
hearings.

As a solicitor, Alexis regularly instructed in indictable matters. Alexis recently practised as a managing lawyer at a suburban boutique criminal law firm, which involved the supervision, coaching and mentoring of junior staff.

Alexis read with Michael McGrath and her senior mentor was Megan Tittensor SC.
