PROFILE

Nicole accepts briefs to appear and advise in a wide range of commercial matters, with a focus on insolvency, Corporations Act matters, contractual disputes, class actions and equity.

Prior to coming to the Bar, Nicole spent many years practising in NSW, where she was the partner of a boutique law firm. Nicole managed an extensive range of commercial litigation disputes in the Supreme and Federal Courts and insolvency/restructuring matters.

Upon relocating to Melbourne, Nicole has worked as Special Counsel at Norton Rose Fulbright and Baker McKenzie.  She was extensively involved in the defence of the 7-Eleven class action, including in the preparation of lay and expert evidence in that matter.

Nicole’s litigation experience is broad and includes contractual disputes, claims in equity, property and PPSA related matters and claims under the Australian Consumer Law. She has acted on many urgent interlocutory applications and in regulatory proceedings and investigations. She has represented clients at many mediations and is experienced in alternative dispute resolution processes.

Nicole’s insolvency experience has been recognised by Doyle’s Guide as a leading or recommended individual in NSW (2019 and previous years). 

Nicole is reading with Carl Moller and her senior mentor is Wendy Harris QC.
