Belle Lane has worked in family law since her admission to legal practice in 1994. She has worked as a barrister at the Victorian and Western Australian Bars, as a solicitor in Victoria, Western Australia and the Northern Territory.
Belle practises in all areas of the family law and de facto jurisdictions. She has a significant focus on dispute resolution, but also appears in pre-trials and prepares advice and paperwork. Belle has practised in all States and Territories and is available to travel for both interstate and intrastate work.
Belle is the first AMDRAS Leading Mediator recognised at the Victorian Bar. She is also a Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner (FDRP). Belle teaches mediation with the Australian Institute of Family Law Arbitrators and Mediators (AIFLAM) and the University of Western Australia (UWA). Belle was a director AIFLAM from 2012 to 2019. She is a very experienced mediator conducting mediations both in person and on line and regularly mentors other dispute resolution practitioners.
