Jonathan has a broad range of experience in commercial litigation spanning more than 20 years, specialising particularly in insolvency, corporations, property and trust law. He also provides specialist advice in these areas. He has acted and continues to act for numerous administrators, receivers and liquidators in respect of complex administrations. He also regularly acts for family members in respect of intra-family financial disputes, both in a corporate and non-corporate context.
Jonathan has considerable trial and appellate experience, both on his own and with junior counsel assisting him. This includes numerous trials in excess of 15 days’ duration. In June 2018, he was named by Doyles Guide as a preeminent senior counsel in the category "Leading Insolvency & Restructuring Senior Counsel". In June 2019, he was again named by Doyles Guide as a recommended senior counsel in the category “Leading Litigation & Dispute Resolution Senior Counsel”.
