Joshua practices primarily in corporate and commercial law with a strong focus on corporate and personal insolvency. He has a broad appearance and advice practice which includes equity and trust, banking and finance, property law, professional negligence and general commercial litigation disputes.  

Joshua regularly advises and appears in the Supreme Court and the Federal Court in Victoria, NSW, Qld and WA in:

  • setting aside statutory demands and opposing winding up applications;
  • setting aside bankruptcy notices and opposing creditor petitions;
  • voidable transaction proceedings (such as unfair preference claims, uncommercial transactions, unreasonable director related transactions);
  • breach of director duties proceedings;
  • public examinations;
  • oppression proceedings;
  • corporate and personal security enforcement proceedings;
  • judgment debt enforcement proceedings;
  • professional indemnity proceeding (legal practitioners, liquidators, accountants and auditors); and
