PROFILE

Katharine signed the bar roll in 2010. Since then, she has practised primarily in personal injury cases. She has a particular interest in cases involving psychiatric injury. Katharine has appeared for many Plaintiffs in sexual harassment, sexual abuse and bullying cases in the Court of Appeal, Federal Court, Supreme Court, County Court, Magistrates' Court, VCAT and AAT. She is a member of the Common Law Bar Association and the Compensation Law Bar Association. 

Katharine has also appeared in cases involving serious injury applications and common law damages trials for Plaintiffs and Defendants. 

Prior to coming to the Bar, Katharine was associate to her Honour Judge Davis, then the Judge-in-Charge of the Damages and Compensation List at the County Court. Katharine completed articles at a firm in Fitzroy in 2007 where she gained experience in town planning, property and commercial law. Katharine read with Matt Townsend and her senior mentor was Richard Stanley QC.  

Katharine lives in Geelong with her family and is a member of Walsh Chambers.
