Sarah works in planning, environment and public law. 

She has appeared in, and/or advised on, a range of planning matters in the context of:

  • mixed use developments;
  • residential developments;
  • renewable energy facilities;
  • telecommunications towers;
  • sporting facilities; and
  • forestry.

She also appears for government department and agency clients in relation to, among other things:

  • administrative law (merits review) matters, in the AAT;
  • residential tenancies disputes in VCAT; and
  • crimes mental impairment reviews and applications in the Supreme and County Courts.

Sarah has completed the Masters level subject Planning and Development Law and is a member of the Victorian Planning and Environmental Law Association.  She is a reporter for Victorian Reports and has taught advocacy at the Leo Cussen Institute

Prior to coming to the bar, Sarah had exposure to environmental aspects of major infrastructure projects when acting for the State in water, hospital and road projects as a senior associate at Clayton Utz; and during a secondment to Jeantet Associés in Paris.
