Tim accepts briefs in all areas of criminal law and quasi criminal law including inquests, tribunals and other disciplinary proceedings.

Tim also maintains a busy family law practice, appearing regularly in both parenting and property disputes as well as intervention order proceedings.

Tim is available to appear in all metropolitan and regional courts.

Prior to coming to the Bar, Tim was Associate to His Honour Judge Frank Gucciardo in the Criminal Division of the County Court of Victoria for three years. During this time, he gained practical experience in indictable crime and was exposed to a wide range of proceedings including criminal trials, pleas, bail applications, appeals from the Magistrates' Court, supervision order applications and Crimes Mental Impairment matters.

Tim commenced his career at a criminal law firm where he appeared as an advocate in the Magistrates' Court and instructed in the County and Supreme Courts.

Tim read with Geoffrey Steward in Gorman Chambers. His senior mentor is Ian Hill QC.
