Jeremy is an experienced advocate who accepts briefs in all areas of criminal law and quasi-criminal law, including intervention orders proceedings, occupational health and safety matters and other disciplinary proceedings.
While at the Bar, Jeremy has regularly appeared in complex criminal matters including committal proceedings, contested hearings, appeals, bail applications and plea hearings across all courts in the Victorian hierarchy.
Jeremy is well-versed in matters of evidence, sentencing and criminal procedure and was selected as a participant in the 2022/2023 Victoria Legal Aid Trial Counsel Development Program.
He also maintains a busy civil and personal injuries practice comprising both appearances and paperwork, with a strong interest in claims arising from institutional abuse and State care.
Prior to coming to the Bar, Jeremy was Associate to her Honour Judge Davis at the County Court of Victoria where he gained practical insight into, and extensive knowledge of, a wide range of proceedings and disputes before the Court.
