Mark McNamara is an accomplished advocate with 30 years experience as a commercial litigation lawyer. Immediately prior to coming to the Bar in 1995 he was a Senior Associate in Herbert Geer & Rundle’s commercial litigation team.
Mark has a broad commercial practice with particular emphasis upon matters involving equity and trusts, shareholder and partnership disputes, corporations, securities, banking and finance, professional negligence and deceased estates; together with a wide range of property matters.
Mark appears in State and Federal Courts and Tribunals, at trial and on urgent injunctions and other applications. Although Mark particularly enjoys appearing in court he has an extensive practice in drawing court documents and providing advice. Mark provides clear and independent advice to clients and instructing solicitors and seeks to take a practical approach in providing advice and exploring avenues for resolution of disputes.
