Profile

Nicole accepts briefs to appear and advise in a wide range of commercial and civil matters, with a focus on Corporations Act matters, contractual disputes, insolvency, equity, property, class actions and ACL claims. 

She is regularly briefed on a led and unled basis, primarily in the Supreme Court of Victoria, County Court of Victoria, Federal Court of Australia, Federal Circuit and Family Court and VCAT.

Nicole has a subspeciality in insolvency and bankruptcy. She also appears and advises in leasing and property disputes, including those concerning equitable interests over land and co ownership disputes.

Nicole has a busy interlocutory practice and frequently accepts briefs to appear on an urgent basis.

Prior to coming to the bar, Nicole spent many years as a solicitor in NSW, where she was the partner of a boutique law firm. Nicole managed an extensive range of commercial litigation disputes in the Supreme and Federal Courts and insolvency/restructuring matters. Nicole was recognised in Doyle’s Guide as a leading or recommended individual in NSW (insolvency) (2019 and previous years).
