Shane studied Law in the Northern Territory prior to working as a Judge's Associate in the NT Supreme Court in 1995.
Since being called to the Bar in 1998, Shane first appeared in debt, insurance, building, IVO, PII, local government, and criminal law matters before practising exclusively in family and relationship law.
Shane has been a National Accredited Mediator since 2011 and holds mediations in:
- family law
- personal/business relationship matters
- internal family disputes

- Shane has an understanding in matters involving violence, psychological welfare, trauma, complex PTSD, and related symptomology.
