Shannon Jenkins

Shannon Jenkins specialises in commercial law disputes. He also practises in employment and public law.

Prior to being called to the Bar, Shannon practised as a solicitor in the Commercial Disputes practice group at Mills Oakley, and as a solicitor in the Office of General Counsel, at the Department of Premier and Cabinet.

Shannon's commercial practice focuses on corporations law, competition and consumer law, contracts, equity and trusts, banking and financial services, tax, insolvency, property, and fraud.

Shannon regularly appears in state and federal courts, both led and unled. He accepts briefs to appear in all courts and tribunals, throughout Australia.

Shannon teaches Corporations Law at Monash University’s Law School. He has previously taught Civil Procedure and Evidence Law.

He has been recognised in the 2026 edition of Best Lawyers: “Ones to Watch” in Australia.

Briefed for 27 defendants concerning the alleged operation of an unregistered managed investment scheme, involving breaches of the Corporations Act, breaches of fiduciary duties and and misleading or deceptive conduct.
