Shannon Jenkins has a commercial and public law practice, with a focus on matters involving corporations law, contracts, equity, trusts, insolvency, property, construction, and trade practices law. He also has experience in defamation, employment, and administrative law matters.
Shannon has appeared in numerous trials and applications in State and Federal Courts (both led, and unled) and as junior counsel in the Victorian Supreme Court of Appeal. He accepts briefs to appear in all courts and tribunals, throughout Australia.
Before joining the Bar, Shannon was a solicitor at the Department of Premier and Cabinet, in its Office of General Counsel. Prior to that, he was a solicitor at Mills Oakley, in the Commercial Disputes and Insolvency practice group.
Shannon teaches Civil Procedure at Monash University's Law School. He has previously taught Evidence Law and Administrative Law at Deakin University's Law School.
