Adam Meyer practices in insurance law, including professional indemnity claims, class actions, defamation and health profession regulation.

Before coming to the Bar, Adam was Special Counsel at Colin Biggers & Paisley, where he acted for the Legal Practitioners’ Liability Committee. Adam also acted in the Great Southern Proceedings, which comprised 16 related group proceedings and culminated in a trial extending over 90 sitting days.

Adam commenced his career at Maurice Blackburn Cashman, where he acted in significant shareholder, personal injury and property damage class actions.

Adam volunteered at the St Kilda Legal Service (now Southside Justice) for over 20 years, as a volunteer solicitor, Board Member and Chair of the Board.

Adam read with David Klempfner and his senior mentor is Jonathan Evans KC.
