Alessandra practises in all areas of employment & industrial, discrimination and public & administrative law.
Before coming to the Bar, Alessandra spent over a decade working as a solicitor. Most recently, she worked in-house as a senior lawyer at a tertiary education institution where she advised across a broad range of disputes & litigation in employment & industrial law, discrimination, privacy & FOI and merits review. Prior to that, Alessandra worked in private practice for top & mid-tier firms advising employer and private clients in employment, health and safety and industrial law matters. She has also worked with trade unions in the manufacturing and health service sectors.
Alessandra holds a Master of Employment and Labour Relations Law and a Juris Doctor from the University of Melbourne.
Alessandra is reading with Franceska Leoncio and her senior mentors are Justin Bourke KC and Siobhan Kelly SC.
