Profile

Cait Storr practises in commercial and public law, with focus on real property,  environmental and planning law, and native title.

Prior to coming to the Bar, Cait was a solicitor with Freehills (now Herbert Smith Freehills) in the major projects and corporate governance teams, and a Senior Lecturer at Melbourne Law School. She is a highly experienced legal researcher, has published widely in esteemed law journals, and has worked internationally as an academic including with Harvard Law School. Cait teaches property law, environmental law, and advanced legal research at Melbourne Law School.

Cait holds a Juris Doctor, Bachelor of Arts (Honours) and Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Melbourne, where she received numerous prizes and scholarships, including the prize for public law and the University Prize for her doctoral thesis.

Cait read with Rudi Kruse and her senior mentor is Susan Brennan SC.
