Profile
Chris practises in public law, regulatory and employment law. He has a strong interest in the intersection of health and the law.
Before coming to the Bar, Chris was a Senior Associate at Health Legal, where he worked on regulatory, employment and general commercial matters for health sector organisations. Chris has worked at Meridian Lawyers' Health Team, working on medical negligence, coronial and disciplinary matters. Prior to that, he was an Associate to the Honourable Justice Quigley when her Honour was President of the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal.
Chris values volunteer work. He has contributed to the Fitzroy Legal Service Law Handbook by editing Chapter 9.1 (Health and the law). Formerly, Chris was a member of Liberty Victoria's Rights Advocacy Project Steering Committee. He has also volunteered for Springvale Monash Legal Service's South Eastern Centre Against Sexual Assault clinic, assisting victim-survivors of sexual assault with (what was then) Victims of Crime Assistance Tribunal applications.
Chris is reading with Rachel Ellyard and his senior mentor is Sarala Fitzgerald SC.
