Christopher accepts briefs in criminal law, quasi-criminal matters and regulatory matters.

Before coming to the Bar, Christopher appeared daily as a solicitor advocate for many years under Accredited Criminal Law Specialists Leanne Warren and Ann Valos. Christopher had carriage of and appeared in a wide range of criminal matters including drug trafficking, sex offences and homicides in all state courts.

He has experience in bail hearings, appeals, contests, committals and Intervention Orders.

Christopher has a focus on therapeutic outcomes, including matters in the Drug Court and the Assessment and Referral Court (ARC). Additionally, he has experience with the Crimes (Mental Impairment and Unfitness to be Tried) Act 1997  (Vic) particularly with the defence of mental impairment.

Christopher obtained a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Laws from Monash University.

He is also a Premier level umpire in the Victorian Amateur Football League, where he commenced in 2019.

Christopher is reading with Phillip Bloemen and his Senior Mentor is Colin Mandy SC.
