Josh accepts briefs to appear in criminal and quasi-criminal law matters. He has extensive experience appearing as an advocate across a broad spectrum of summary and indictable matters in all metropolitan and regional courts.
In the family law space, Josh has significant experience appearing in Interim Defended Hearings, Contravention proceedings, dispute resolution proceedings and Final Hearings.
Josh also accepts briefs to appear in intervention order and child protection proceedings.
Prior to coming to the Bar, Josh practised as a senior solicitor advocate at Victoria Legal Aid, keeping carriage of a large volume of complex indictable matters including drug trafficking, sexual offences and serious violent offences.
Josh also has experience in Government, having worked as a Senior Program and Policy Officer with the Justice and Community Safety Directorate in Canberra. Before working at Victoria Legal Aid, Josh worked with a boutique law firm that specialised in criminal and family law.
Josh read with His Honour Magistrate Adrian Kennedy. His senior mentor was David Hallowes SC.
