Profile

Kate Sheridan principally practises in workplace relations and employment law.

She accepts briefs for industrial, regulatory and representative proceedings, including industrial disputes, employment contracts, discrimination, work health and safety proceedings and workers compensation.

Kate accepts work in both Victoria and South Australia, for a wide variety of clients such as government departments, associations, corporations and individuals.

Prior to joining the Bar, Kate has worked as a solicitor at Australian Industry Group, Macpherson Kelley, MinterEllison and OZ Minerals. Preceding her admission to legal practice in 2006, she has worked in corporate roles across a wide variety of industries in New South Wales, Victoria, and South Australia.

Kate was the co-chair of the Workplace Relations Committee for the Law Institute of Victoria from June 2019 to June 2022.

She holds a Masters in Labour Law (Melbourne University), and degrees in Laws and Business.
