Profile

Since being called to the bar in 2010, Katharine's practice has been primarily in common law, including WorkCover and TAC matters. She has a particular interest in cases involving psychiatric injury and intentional torts. Katharine has appeared for many Plaintiffs in sexual harassment, sexual abuse and bullying cases. She is a member of the Common Law Bar Association and the Compensation Law Bar Association.

Prior to coming to the Bar, Katharine was associate to her Honour Judge Davis, then Judge in Charge of the Damages and Compensation List at the County Court of  Victoria. Katharine completed articles with Simon Nixon in Fitzroy in 2007 where she gained experience in town planning, property and commercial law. Katharine read with Matt Townsend and her senior mentor was Richard Stanley QC.
