Kevin Jones has devoted his professional career to the practical application of Australian Taxatian Laws to a wide variety of taxpayer circumstances.
Kevin accepts briefs in taxation, corporate and commercial areas of the law.Before coming to the bar, Kevin worked in the corporate sector for a number of major companies including Foster’s Group Limited (Vice President Taxation), Xstrata Queensland Limited (Tax Manager Copper) and BP Australia Limited. Kevin commenced his career at Arthur Young (now Ernst and Young), Chartered Accountants, in the Taxation Division. During the three years spent with this firm Kevin successfully completed his professional year studies.Kevin was President of the Corporate Tax Association in 2006.
Immediately prior to coming to the Bar, Kevin worked as a Solicitor for Maliganis Edwards Johnson, Barristers and Solicitors, specializing in litigation. In this role Kevin undertook successful matters in the areas of contract, torts and wills and estates, including family provision.Kevin is a Chartered Tax Adviser and member of the Tax Institute.
