Lachlan practises in commercial, public and criminal law matters.

Prior to being called to the Bar, Lachlan was a Senior Federal Prosecutor for the Commonwealth Director of Public Prosecutions. He prosecuted complex commercial and regulatory crimes, in addition to matters involving public corruption. Lachlan regularly appeared in the Magistrates’ Court and County Court of Victoria.  Moreover, he provided strategic and specialist advice to government agencies during investigations.

He also has experience in commercial litigation. He accepts briefs in a wide range of areas relating to commercial law including contractual, consumer, employment, building and construction, and property law disputes.

Lachlan is reading with Angel Aleksov. His senior mentors are Paul Holdenson KC and David Robertson KC.
