Profile

Mark McNamara is an accomplished advocate with 35 years’ experience as a commercial litigation lawyer. Immediately prior to coming to the Bar in 1995 he was a Senior Associate in Herbert Geer & Rundle’s (now Thomson Geer) commercial litigation team.

Mark has a broad commercial practice with particular emphasis on matters involving property, contract, shareholder and partnership disputes, misleading and deceptive conduct, equity and trusts, corporations, banking and finance, and professional negligence.

Mark also has an extensive practice in drawing court documents and providing advice. He provides clear and independent advice to clients and instructing solicitors and seeks to take a practical approach in providing advice and exploring avenues for resolution of disputes.

Mark enjoys meeting new people, communicates very well with instructing solicitors and clients, and has excellent negotiating skills.
