Meagan has a broad practice in general commercial law, common law, public law, and quasi-criminal law.
Before coming to the Bar, Meagan was a principal solicitor in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution branch at the Victorian Government Solicitor’s Office, where she represented government clients in complex civil litigation, including negligence and personal injury claims, judicial review proceedings, and coronial inquests.
Prior to joining the VGSO, Meagan served as an associate to his Honour Judge Cosgrave (now the Honourable Justice Cosgrave) in the Commercial Division of the County Court.
Meagan was admitted to practise in New York in 2015. She commenced her legal career in the United States, where she practised at a boutique firm specialising in personal injury and commercial litigation. Upon returning to Melbourne, Meagan was admitted to practise in Victoria in 2019.
Meagan holds a Juris Doctor from Monash University.
Meagan is reading with Roman Rozenberg, and her senior mentor is Fiona Ryan SC.
