Sana Gelic

Sana accepts briefs in planning, criminal and regulatory matters.

Before joining the Bar, Sana worked as a solicitor at Maddocks in the Public Law group. She specialised in statutory and strategic planning matters and has appeared in the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal and Planning Panels Victoria.

Sana has also worked on enforcement matters being prosecuted in the Magistrates Court and instructed Counsel in criminal appeals to the County Court.

More recently, Sana was a sessional academic at La Trobe University, where she taught Juris Doctor cohort subjects such as Commercial Law, Dispute Resolution and Contracts B.

Sana holds a Juris Doctor and a Bachelor of Arts (Journalism) from Monash University.

Sana is reading with Andrew Woods and her senior mentor is Rishi Nathwani SC.
