Profile
Sean is an urban planning and environment specialist. He has 10 years’ experience in this area.
Before coming to the Bar, Sean worked as an engineer (specialising in acoustics), town planner and planning solicitor for leading firms. He has a double degree in Mechanical Engineering and Law from Monash University, and a Graduate Diploma of Urban Planning from RMIT.
As a solicitor at Norton Rose Fulbright, Sean ran planning hearings for major projects.
Before this, Sean was an acoustic engineer, working across a wide range of infrastructure projects, in particular, wind farms.
During 2014, Sean worked at the EPA on noise policy development.
Sean read with Barnaby Chessell and his senior mentor is Adrian Finanzio SC.
He accepts briefs in all planning and environment matters.
