Practice

Shane takes briefs in family law parenting & property matters, and is generally involved as retained counsel from first return through to final hearing or early resolution. 

Shane's emphasis throughout is to resolve proceedings so that the clients can reestablish their lives away from and without costly and challenging litigation.  

Mediations in Family & Relationship Law and Intra-familial matters

Shane holds mediations in parenting and property matters, interpersonal & familial disputes, probate claims, and complex issues involving trauma & PTSD.

First Admitted to Practice: 5 November 1996 (NT)

Shane studied Law in the Northern Territory prior to working as a Judge's Associate in the NT Supreme Court in 1995.

Since being called to the Bar in 1998, Shane practises exclusively in family and relationship law as counsel or mediator.
