Vanessa accepts briefs to appear in and advise on matters involving all aspects of family law and associated jurisdictions.
Prior to coming to the bar, Vanessa worked as a solicitor-advocate in Geelong, and was previously a Judge's Associate at the Federal Circuit Court of Australia (as it then was). Since that time, Vanessa has litigated and advised on a broad range of family law, family violence, family provision and related matters.
Vanessa is a regular contributor to ongoing legal education, writing papers and presenting at industry events. They hold a Bachelor of Laws, a Bachelor of Biomedicine, a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice and a Diploma in Languages (Italian).
Vanessa read with Jeffrey Stanley and their senior mentor is Minal Vohra SC.
