We are delighted to welcome Alison James, who has just expanded her practice to Victoria and Foley’s List. She accepts briefs to appear in, and advise on, all matters of Family Law now in Victoria and South Australia.

Alison specialises in equitable interests, family businesses and property settlement cases and complex parenting matters. She accepts briefs to appear, advise and mediate on both property and parenting matters including international Hague Convention matters and all Family Law appeals. She has been an accredited family law specialist for 17 years.

Alison is also an NMAS Accredited Mediator and a Family Law Arbitrator (Regulation 67B). She is not only briefed for advocacy but frequently as the mediator in all types of mediations. She is able to acts as arbitrator for Family Law property matters. Alison is currently doing the AIFLAM Specialist Advanced Family Law Arbitration Course through Bond University.
