Kaitlyn accepts briefs in all areas of criminal and quasi-criminal matters across metropolitan and regional courts.

Kaitlyn has appeared in a broad range of summary and indictable matters in the Magistrates’, Children’s, and County Court jurisdictions. Prior to coming to the Bar, Kaitlyn was Associate to the Honourable Justice Fox in both the Supreme Court and County Court of Victoria.

Previously, Kaitlyn practised as a solicitor advocate at Victoria Legal Aid in the Melbourne Summary Crime Team, where she appeared in court daily. Kaitlyn also practiced as a solicitor advocate at the Victorian Aboriginal Legal Service. In this role she gained experience appearing in the Koori Court and appeared in a number of metropolitan and regional courts in Victoria.

Since joining the Bar, she has spent time working for the North Australian Aboriginal Justice Agency (NAAJA) based in Alice Springs.

Kaitlyn read with David Cronin. Her senior mentor is Sally Flynn KC.
