Madeleine has practised predominately in family law and family violence law since her admission in 2017.
Prior to coming to the Bar, Madeleine was the Managing Lawyer of the Family Law & Family Violence team at Fitzroy Legal Service. Madeleine led, managed and supervised a team of lawyers who represented clients in family law parenting and property litigation, at family violence contested hearing and as family violence duty lawyer services at a Specialist Family Violence Court.
Madeleine has extensive experience appearing in family law matters at the Federal Circuit & Family Court of Australia and in family violence matters at the Magistrates' Court, including contested hearing and as a duty lawyer.
Madeleine accepts briefs in all areas of family law and in related jurisdictions, including family violence.
Madeleine holds a Masters of Law (Applied Law), majoring in Family Law.
Madeleine is reading with Caroline Paterson and her Senior Mentor is Sarah Fisken SC.
