In this Daze in Court episode, Foley's List barristers Rohan Hoult, Andrea Skinner and Principal Will Stidston from Barry Nilsson explore the evolving role and drawbacks of artificial intelligence, particularly its impact on generating and evaluating documents. Rohan Hoult is a former Senior Judicial Registrar of the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia, who returned to the Bar in 2023. Rohan can now appear in all courts, including Division 1 and Division 2 of the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia (FCFCOA). He has over 35 years’ experience practicing exclusively in family law. Rohan’s extensive practice has included significant trial and appellate work, complex child and property matters, and experience in Magellan cases. He is also an AIFLAM Nationally Accredited Mediator.

Andrea Skinner accepts briefs to appear in Family Law, relationship law and all related jurisdictions. She appears regularly in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia in respect of both parenting and property proceedings and has a substantial Family Law practice. Andrea appears regularly in Defended Hearings in both Division 1 and 2 of the FCFCOA and has a strong mediation practice, appearing as Counsel, where she is focused on acheiving optimal and cost effective outcomes for her clients.

Will Stidston is Principal / Accredited Family Law Specialist at Barry Nilsson. He has almost two decades of family law experience and has practised exclusively in the area since 2010. He has worked on a several large multi-million-dollar financial matters involving intricate corporate structures, as well as challenging parenting cases involving international relocation.
