Tim Marsh

Tim practices in all areas of crime, he has a strong practice in mental impairment and disability law. His work at first instance and on appeal in this area have helped clarify and reshape how the Victorian Courts treat offenders with mental illnesses. 


Michael McGrath

Michael appears regularly in trials. He has been selected as a member of the Victoria Legal Aid Criminal Trial Preferred Barrister List.


Dr Mark Gumbleton

Mark is predominantly a trial barrister that is privately briefed from the filing of charges, through to committal and ultimately at trial. His expertise is in drug related proceedings, organised crime and white-collar crime. He holds a doctorate in criminal law in the area of complicity.

         
         Richard Edney

Richard's practice at the Bar has been exclusively in criminal defence. His practice is predominately focused on trials in the Supreme and County Courts of Victoria. He also has been briefed to appear in matters in Western Australia, South Australia, ACT and Queensland.


Hayden Rattray

Hayden is a criminal defence barrister. He accepts briefs in all states and territories of Australia and in New Zealand.
He regularly conducts contested hearings in the criminal jurisdiction and accepts briefs to appear in opposed intervention order proceedings.


Adam Chernok

Adam is an experienced defence advocate in a broad range of serious criminal law and related administrative law and public interest matters. He is particularly adept at representing clients in cases arising out of sophisticated investigations and involving complex evidentiary and legal issues.


Dr Julian Murphy

Julian accepts briefs in all areas of public law, particularly criminal, administrative and constitutional law, as well as torts and class actions against public authorities. He is a member of the VLA Criminal Trial Preferred Barrister List.
