As Foley’s List expands its marketing efforts, we are looking for a marketing assistant to join our marketing department and help manage an increasing workload. This is a casual, on-location role perfect for marketing students and recent graduates.
Foley’s List is Victoria’s largest clerking company in the legal industry. We provide our services to over 300 barristers, helping to manage their practice, their accounts, and other administrative assistance.
As our marketing assistant, you will provide marketing for these Barristers, as well as marketing for Foley’s List itself.
About the Role
You will be working with our digital marketing manager in the following activities:
- Facilitate and produce the Think Foley’s podcast
- Maintain and innovate Foley’s website by updating its news posts and page content
- Manage Foley’s social media profiles and execute social media campaigns
- Assist in the organisation and promotion of Foley’s events
- Assist Foley’s barristers with their online profile and other marketing or branding efforts
- Copywriting and designing email communications to barristers and solicitors
- Liaise with third party graphic designers, voiceover artists, vendors
- Assist with other related marketing and administrative tasks
About You
As Foley’s List hopes to grow and improve its marketing strategies, we want someone who shares that mindset for their own professional growth.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a marketing background (by-way-of tertiary education or relevant work experience)
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Has meticulous attention to detail
- Is technologically savvy
- Is organised with effective time management skills
- Possess a willingness to learn and a ‘can do’ attitude
- Has passion and enthusiasm for marketing
Experience and/or expertise in any of the following areas will be beneficial, but not compulsory as there will be plenty of opportunities to learn on the job.
- Podcast and video production
- Social media account management (primarily LinkedIn)
- Adobe Suite (InDesign, Audition, Photoshop, or After Effects)
- Microsoft Excel, Power Automate
- Basic HTML & CSS Knowledge
- Knowledge (or passion) about the Victorian legal system
Additional Details
Location: CBD Office, within the heart of Melbourne’s legal precinct.
Work Type: Casual, (approximately 30 hours a fortnight, flexible)
Start Date: Negotiable, June/July Start Date.
