Her experience as solicitor or counsel in planning and environment, land valuation or compulsory acquisition, energy and resources, judicial review, regulatory enforcement and Supreme Court trials includes:

  • urban renewal projects such as Advisory Committee into proposed Planning Scheme Amendment GC81 to Melbourne and Port Phillip Planning Schemes Fishermans Bend Planning Review Panel [2018] PPV 71 (as co-counsel)
  • rating disputes such as valuation of a wind farm for ratings purposes before VCAT and Supreme Court of Victoria (2019-2020, as co-counsel with D O'Brien, for Valuer-General Victoria)
  • civil penalty proceedings in the Federal Court of Australia regarding unlicenced importation of synthetic greenhouse gas (2019-2020, as counsel unled, for confidential Respondent)
  • compulsory acquisition including for the purposes of an open space corridor (2012, Supreme Court of Victoria)
  • energy facilities such as various wind farms and the International Power (Hazelwood) coal-fired power station 
  • state-significant infrastructure projects such as Docklands, expanson of the Port of Portland, development of a desalination plant, St Kilda Triangle 
  • heritage appeals such as redevelopment of GTV 9 Studios in Richmond and Windsor Hotel  (Heritage Council and Supreme Court of Victoria)
  • planning appeals and judicial review including for national roll-outs of new major retail facilities for Peregrine Corporation and Woolworts Ltd (VCAT and Supreme Court of Victoria)
  • preparation and conduct of environmental litigation including Winky Pop and Or v Mobil Australia Ltd (Supreme Court of Victoria)
  • judicial review including by or for friends groups such as Friends of  Mallacoota  v Minister of Planning and Minister for Environment regarding Bastion Point
