PROFILE

Andrew accepts briefs to appear in a broad range of commercial and common law matters, with a focus on tax law.

Prior to coming to the Bar, Andrew was a solicitor at KPMG Law in their Tax Dispute Resolution & Controversy team, where he gained experience in all stages of tax disputes with State and Federal revenue authorities. His clients included multinational corporations, small to medium enterprises and high net wealth individuals.

Andrew holds a Bachelor of Commerce (majoring in accounting) and a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from Bond University, where he studied on a Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship. He also holds a Master of Laws from Tsinghua University in Beijing and is a Chartered Tax Adviser with the Taxation Institute of Australia. 

Andrew read with Matthew Hooper and his senior mentor is Terry P Murphy KC.
