PROFILE

Mark specialises in all aspects of taxation and revenue law.  He has over a decade of professional legal experience advising and acting for taxpayers and the Commissioner of Taxation in various Federal, State and Territory tax and commercial matters.  He has represented listed and multinational groups, small and medium-sized enterprises, high-net-worth families and not-for-profit organisations.  He is experienced in every stage of engagement with revenue authorities, from audit and objection to litigation.

Mark serves as a member of the Tax Bar Association committee and is also a member of The Tax Institute's Victorian State Council.  He holds a Master of Laws from the University of Melbourne and is a Fellow of The Tax Institute.

Mark has lectured on various topics for The Tax Institute’s Chartered Tax Adviser course. He has written several articles published in professional journals, and is a regular presenter at conferences and seminars.

Mark was named as a winner of the Australasian Lawyer 2022 Rising Star awards.
