The statutory action of misleading and deceptive conduct is one of the most (if not, the most) relied upon statutory provisions in the civil and commercial contexts.  While there are a number of reasons for this, the vagueness of the language is one of them. While the opacity of the language can prove alluring, it contains hidden pitfalls.
