Philip Dunn QC is an experienced trial advocate who has conducted trials and pleas for forty years. Philip is based at Crockett Chambers in Melbourne but regularly appears in all states in Australia. As a trial lawyer he conducts defences in all types of criminal matters; notably murder, conspiracy, corporate and tax fraud and, drug and sex offences.
O Paul Holdenson QC

Paul has developed a specialist practice as an appellate advocate, appearing predominantly in criminal appeals. He has particular interests in the law of criminal procedure and the law of evidence and has co-authored a number of articles concerning various aspects of the law of evidence which have been published in the Australian Law Journal.
Julie Condon QC

Mark Gumbleton

Sharon Lacy

Sharon practises principally in criminal law as a criminal trial advocate. She holds an Indictable Crime Certificate from the Victorian Bar; and is on the VLA Preferred Trial Counsel List. She is an elected member of the Criminal Bar Association Committee, lead counsel in the VLA Junior Trial Counsel program and a mentor on the CBA and Women in Crime Mentor programs.
Tim Marsh

After working as a solicitor at the Office of Public Prosecutions, Tim went to the Bar in 2003, reading with Mark Rochford QC. He specialises and practices in all areas of crime. In 2011 Tim was appointed as a Senior Public Defender at Victoria Legal Aid. in 2013 he was appointed as Chief Counsel, and for the next 7 years led VLA Chambers, before deciding to return to the Bar in November 2020.
Michael McGrath

In 2001 Michael left for London where he worked in criminal law. In 2003 he worked at Rob Melasecca's office as a Solicitor Advocate appearing in contested summary matters, County Court appeals, Committals, Bail Applications and pleas in the Magistrates and County Courts. He has been selected as a member of the Victoria Legal Aid Criminal Trial Preferred Barrister List.
